When you register for an account, we collect your email address and a password (stored as a secure hash). You may optionally provide a name, photo, phone number, and other professional details for your CV. We also collect payment information through our payment processor — we never see or store your full payment details.
Your information is used to operate your account, generate your CV, and process subscriptions. Your published CV is publicly accessible at your mycyvy.com URL. We do not sell or share your personal data with third parties except as required to provide the service (payment processing).
Your account data is retained for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, all associated data (CV, subscription records) is permanently removed. Payment records may be retained by our payment processor in accordance with their own privacy policy.
You may access, update, or delete your personal data at any time through your account dashboard. You can request a copy of your data by contacting us.
We use a JWT token stored in localStorage for authentication. No third-party tracking cookies are used.
